Digital transformation is an increasingly important area for businesses, and the launch of the SAP Digital Centre of Excellence is set to provide valuable insights into how businesses can approach this topic. The event will focus on various aspects of digital transformation, including SAP’s role in enabling it, the challenges businesses face when moving to SAP S/4HANA, and the University’s approach to digital transformation and SAP Certifications.
The event will begin with a welcome from Professor Andrew Callaghan and Steve Lofthouse, both SAP mentor alumni, followed by a welcome from SAP User Forum Chair, Alex Radford.
Throughout the day we will also hear from Ian Wyrley-Birch, co-founder, and Partner at Birchman discussing Barrick Gold Corporation’s digital transformation project, which was based on the global implementation of SAP S/4HANA, and Richard Taylor, Partner at Birchman, will deliver a presentation on the complexities of moving to SAP S/4HANA and how to deliver a successful digital transformation.
The launch of the Digital Centre of Excellence will be announced during the event, and attendees will learn about the University’s digital approach for students and the local community.
There will be an opportunity to network with SAP User Forum members and the University students, and guests currently using SAP ECC6 will have a chance to participate in the ERP SIM simulation game, which is based on SAP S/4HANA.
The SAP Digital Centre of Excellence launch event promises to be a valuable experience for business leaders, academics, and technology experts who are interested in driving digital transformation.
