Away from the hustle and bustle of commercial life in the city, Birchman has a Knowledge and Induction Centre which is located in the small town of Pals, in the north of Spain.

The centre is a training facility which provides our consultants with an excellent environment to exchange knowledge, ideas and information with their colleagues.

The centre also serves as a facility in which our customers, with Birchman’s facilitation, can develop future business strategies, have programme kick-off and steering committee meetings, as well as provide off-site training.

Pals is a small medieval town on the coast of Costa Brava, Catalonia. The first references of the town go back to 889. The old town was severely damaged in the Spanish civil war but much restoration has taken place to restore the town to its previous beauty. There is much to do in Pals, other than the historical past, including the beach, many restaurants and cafes and several golf courses. Pals is situated approx 1.5 hours from Barcelona and approx 30 minutes from Girona. Parts of the buildings in which the Birchman Centre is housed are believed to date back to the 1400’s.
